***Speed Cameras***
Unless the legislature reauthorizes, the Speed cameras should go dark on July 1. Drive like they are still on
***New Speed Bill in Legislature***
There is a bill, Numbers S4045A, and A2299B requires the installation of Intelligent speed assistance devices if a driver accumulates eleven points or more points on their driving record during a 24 month period or receives 6 speed camera ticket with in 12 months period.

**Bus Operator Safety***
The MTA has a full plan for full partitioning, but they claim not to have the money to install them at the moment.
If a current partition is not working correctly, that bus should not be taken out into service. If currently on the road, it should be called in as a road call. Please make sure to note it on the OVCR card. Let’s see how that works with the New Electronic OVCR card coming.
*** Problems with Mac***
There is currently an with the Doctors at Mac taking operators out unnecessarily. Please notify the union at the depot, the Division and make sure to file a medical Appeal and Grievance. Do it that day.
Expect a rally or action by the union soon.

Cameras go into effect today. The cameras will be in effect from 24 / 7 On August 1,2022 weekdays.

***Sick Policy***
1- Sick Call-You must call in at least one(1) hour before your run is due to report
2- Change of Location- You must call the crew dispatcher whenever you leave the house and upon return. If out for two (2) hours at a time you must make another call to the crew dispatcher. Each two (2) Hours out.
3- Sick Forms – Must be turned in to General Dispatcher within three (3) days of your return to work. No matter how long you are on Sick.
4- Doctors certification- Make sure that your Doctors Lines are completed correctly. Do not alter the doctor’s lines ever.
5- Clearing- Clearing yourself from Sick Leave clear yourself as soon as possible.
6- If an operator has less than 50% of sick time in the bank the operator is subject to a check for Patterns.
7- Undocumented Sick- After 5 undocumented sick in a rolling year you will be counseled. The 6th undocumented in the same rolling year will put you on Sick Leave Control List.. 519
